Copyright and IEEE PDF eXpress Tutorial

How to Complete the IEEE Electronic Copyright Form (eCF)

The Electronic IEEE Copyright Form (eCF) can be found on your accepted submission in EDAS, under the Copyright section. This is usually marked with a copyright icon (©).

Steps to sign your eCF:

  1. Go to your EDAS Home page. You will see a table listing your accepted submission(s), which includes a Copyright column (pointed by red arrow on above figure).
  2. Left-click on the Copyright icon/link for your submission.
  3. You will be redirected to the IEEE eCF site. Follow the on-screen instructions provided there to complete the copyright transfer process.
  4. At the final step, you will be able to download your signed eCF for your own records.

Note: Once you complete the process on the IEEE eCF site, your accepted submission in EDAS will be automatically marked as signed. You do not need to manually upload the signed form back into EDAS.
